You were the one that said it was declining, not me. If he scheduled like others in this district he would be 7-3 or 8-2 this year. I doubt you would comment about the structure of the team then.

Why does coaching always have to be based on the number of titles someone has rusting in their trophey case? I agree that titles are the goal here, but we must remember Mr. Robbins never played one down of football, the kids did. I sometimes think coaches get to much credit and glory and ride on teh tailcoats of athletes, do you agree with this?

No, I don't agree with it at all.

Do you feel as though PV has a sound structure? I agree they play a tough schedule, harder than anyone else that could be considered, that is not the issue here. The issue is things in behind scenes sometimes fall apart based upon expectations of a coach. It starts with little things and doing them right and being consistant, this is what makes for a good coach, not only how many games good athletes can win for you.

Do you feel like they practice hard? Is it normal for kids to be goofing off during practice and taking their helmets off and sitting on the ground? Is it normal not to be doing a lot of weight lifting? Is it normal to blame athletes and coaching staff when you are losing? Is it normal to go out to the practice field only 1 sometimes 2 days per week in full pads
Are you saying it is okay to call Richlands Head coach the greatest coach ever considering the talent he has?Do you not feel like the athletes on that team deserve some credit?
Re: Congrats to Phil Robbins...
I think they have got a great structure. It's hands down the best single A football program in the state. They have more coaches than almost anybody, they have top of the line equipment, and the most equiped weight room for any public school in the country that has 600 students or less. What do you think is wrong with the structure?

I've not been to a practice since I played my last game so I don't know what they do at practice now. When I played we had countless practices that were over at 5:15 and we won 35 games in four years.

Refer to post 15. And none of the above makes up for the lack of what I am talking about. Also, PV assistant coaches arent allowed to coach, you know that beings you are a die hard PV fan, right?

If I had a clue what you were talking about I might be able to respond. I've got an idea but you are just beating around the bush as oppossed to just coming out and saying it. Are you referencing the 05-08 seasons?

It doesnt matter how long you practice, it matters what you do at practice, it seems the team you played on did well at practice.
